Delivery Locations
Goods purchased on the flooring-on-line.co.uk web site are delivered free to the U.K MAINLAND ONLY. Please contact us by email: enquiries@flooring-on-line.co.uk for all other locations and special delivery requirements.
Dispatch Policy
While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale.
Goods delivered normally arrive between 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday to U.K MAINLAND ONLY, in 3-5 working days of placing your order. For larger orders (Carpet rolls etc). We will call you to confirm your preferred date is possible, or to arrange an alternate date that is convenient to you.
We offer free delivery on all orders to Mainland U.K. ONLY
Most orders are dispatched from stock with a lead time of 3-5 days on receipt of cleared funds.
All flooring deliveries are made to kerbside at the nearest access point to the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. The driver may require help unloading the products. As deliveries can be made by a large lorry or van, it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit please inform us at the time of order. Deliveries will be made between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm. We are unable to give an accurate time of delivery as all deliveries are subject to location and traffic conditions at the time of despatch however, we will try to accommodate an AM or PM delivery where possible.
If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date & time because you are not there you will be liable for the re-delivery charge of £30.
Every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect condition. Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery as no claims with regard to damaged items can be made after our driver has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged on delivery. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us will incur a return delivery charge of £30. In the unlikely event that some of your goods are damaged we will collect and replace the product. Any claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason.
In the event that you are not available to provide a signature on the pre-arranged date & time, then you may be charged for re-delivery (£30.00). Deliveries cannot be left outside in porches, garages or any other location.
When Your Order Arrives
When your order arrives, you want to be sure the quantities match what you ordered. To guarantee customer satisfaction, please make note of the following when receiving your order.
Visually inspect the condition and quantity of your goods delivered, make sure to note missing items or damaged materials. The order confirmation email you received lists all the materials and quantities you ordered. You will need to examine the pallet and count each item to make sure everything ordered has been received.
Unless specifically requested all deliveries are kerbside. This means that you (or someone able) must be home to take the goods ordered from the van or lorry to your home. The driver will only unload to the kerbside and are not allowed to enter your home.
DO NOT let the driver leave until you have verified the material received is in good condition and that all material has been accounted for. Any damages or missing items must be noted on your delivery receipt. If not noted we are unable to proceed with any replacement products.
Damaged Faulty Goods
All carriers are selected through stringent guidelines for service and quality control. If you have a concern regarding delivery, please advise us immediately. Damaged or faulty goods must be reported to us immediately on delivery either by email: sales@flooring-on-line.co.uk Any damaged goods MUST be signed as damaged on the delivery note, We will then make further arrangements with you to replace the damaged goods.
Cancellations and Returns
(Applicable for Internet Sales only). In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order, up to 7 days after you have received the goods. All returns and cancellations must conform to the guidelines laid out in the “Distance Selling Regulation” a guide of which can be found at www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf
If goods have not been dispatched we will refund you the full invoice amount within 2 working days.
If you have taken delivery for your goods we will arrange with you for the goods to be collected from the delivery address, and will then refund the total amount paid for the goods, less the cost incurred by us for collection (this cost is the charge made to us by the delivery company) prices will vary depending on location. The standard cost for a collection in mainland UK is £30 but if the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.
All goods must be re-packed as they were received. Refunds will be made to the payment card that was initially used to make the purchase, within 7 days of cancellation. Returns cannot be accepted on special order products.

Fitting Service
Because we supply the entire U.K mainland it is not practical for us to offer an installation service however, we do recommend our customer’s source a local installer using the following affiliated service once in receipt of goods: -www.nicfltd.org.uk/
Prices and VAT.
The price shown for the goods includes VAT. This will be indicated on your order as you go through the checkout and before you make your purchase.
Product Guarantee
If you do not use a Damp Proof Membrane on ground floors, or if you do not use the correct underlay, or if you do not have the flooring fitted correctly, this will affect your guarantee.
Colours
The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.
Confidentiality
All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
Jurisdiction
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Consumer Rights
None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
